 The Boston Pride parade is today. If you watch the news tonight you will see images like this;

 The media loves to only show the extreme side of the parade. Chances are pretty good you will not see these kind of images;

Here is a small sample the entire line up so you can get a better idea of the support the GLBTQ community gets.

Happy Pride!

OMG, WTF…..At first I thought this was in recognition of Boston’s sports teams. Now that’s REAL PRIDE.

Happy Pride, my friend! Funny thing that I bet you didn’t know…you have a picture of my Mom’s wife and my 14-yr-old brother here! They are holding the MassEquality banner. And what? No pictures of the cute, All-American lesbian baton twirler? teehee!

Happy Pride Day!

It’s been years since we (cousins and me) have made the trek down (out? over to?) to Boston but I have many fun memories of my time living in that part of the state and of the Pride Parades.

These days we (cousins, friends, BEW and me) usually stay local at the Pride March out here in the valley. It’s usually the first Satuday in June so most of the local “five college” kids can join in the fun.

I’m wearing an old Boston Pride tee from years ago today to join the celebration and be even more “out” out here. It got a lot of smiles from folks at all my errand stops.

Hope you’ve had a great day.

I was confused by the declaration. I thought for a second this was the first Pride Parade in Boston. So, they do a declaration for Pride Week every year?

Happy Post-pride! Hope you had a fabulous time.
